Bill Hayward is the founder and CEO of Hayward Score, an innovative tool that empowers consumers to assess the health of their home and gives them practical actions to make improvements. Since 2008, he has been focused on combining building science and medical science into a compelling strategy to transform home construction so that homes will no longer degrade human health. Bill also serves as CEO and chief sustainability officer of Hayward, a 100-year-old California lumber and building material supplier. LMB Journal named him Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015. He is also chairman emeritus of FSC US and chaired the Forest Stewardship Council US for five years. He received his BS from UCLA and graduated from the Stanford Executive Program in 2006.
