Rich Arndorfer, the founder of Arndorfer Construction, first strapped on a toolbelt at 12, roofing alongside his grandfather, and started full-time as a rough carpenter right after high school. His framing career began on custom homes, many rafter-framed, forklift-free lake jobs that taught him creativity and common sense. He built his skills nights and weekends doing roofing, siding, decks, and remodeling before founding Arndorfer Construction in 2004. Today, he specializes in framing high-end custom homes in Wisconsin’s lake country. Outside work, Rich and his wife are raising four sons; three of the boys join him on jobsites, training as the next generation of Arndorfer carpenters.
